Crop losses due to el niņo reached a total of 140 Million,the department of agriculture (DA)diclosed yesterday.

According to the DA,a total of 12,189 hectares of rice feilds have been damage by el niņo.As a result,about 7,718.8 metric tons of palay valued at 65 million pesos are believe to have been lost.
